On Saturday, November 27, a major accident happpened in Malaga leaving twelve people injured. A fifty-one car pile up occured in a tunnel in San Jose due to heavy rain. Luckily on three of the twelve injured needed hospital treatment. The tunnel is at a point near Cuidad Jardin and was initially caused by a lorry which hit a post, spreading petrol all over. Cars going in the other direction had time to slow down but others could not, causing a series of accidents. This accident caused a massive hold up and traffic was directed to the center of the city. The road soon closed and was clear by 10pm. While this was happening, a fire crew had to rescue a driver trapped in his car from the accident.
